Tailor Made Private Piano Lessons
Beginner
The primary focus for the beginning student is to establish a musical foundation. Students will be taught technique, rythm, musicianship, and to read music.
Intermediate
A student progresses to the intermediate level after 2 years of study at our Piano studios. It is at this time that the curriculum blends student interest with classical repertoire. Music is a form of expression and it is important for individual development that students connect to the pieces they are playing. Key style periods will be studied. Skills learned at this level include harmony, sight reading, ear training, and music theory. Safe, pain free technique is emphasized as is listening and memorization skills.
Advanced
The advanced student has reached a level of independence where music selection is representative of their sense of individuality as musicians. Students chose pieces anywhere from jazz to pop to new world. Miami serves as a multicultural center and provides great diversity for students. Our studio has taught students from many parts of the world such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, England, India, Jamaica, Canada, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Venezuela and Spain.
